Bay Area native Roni Rego has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2010. After beginning her career, she expanded her experience at Cuticles Nail Spa, where she spent 13 years growing into a lead nail technician. Throughout her career, Roni has remained committed to continuing education and advancing her skills, earning recognition as an Advanced Nail Technician and receiving her Safe Salon Certification in May 2020.

With a passion for beauty and self-care beyond nails, Roni also offers skincare and waxing services, creating a more complete experience focused on helping clients feel polished, confident, and cared for. Her approach combines attention to detail with a strong focus on healthy beauty practices and personalized service.

In August 2023, Roni opened Nails by Roni, transitioning into a private boutique salon experience in Oakland’s Glenview district. Designed to provide a more intimate and relaxing environment, the studio offers one-on-one appointments where beauty, wellness, and client care come together in a welcoming space.
